This vibration test bench has one 1kW electric motor with variation of speed, a flexible coupling, a gear box with a Perspex lid, three rolling bearings three shafts and four steel discs that work as a rotor for balancing, and one hydraulic unit that generates load on the system. All the shafting system is supported into adjustable plates allowing the trainees to perform shaft alignment exercises.
All the components are mounted into a rugged steel table with draws to store the various accessories of the alignment and vibration test bench.
The bench has also a number of pinions with defects that can be changed on the gear box, allowing the diagnosis of defective gears.
Available is also a number of shafts with different diameters that allow the study of torsional vibrations.
The test bench allows also the study of the electrical characteristics of the motor, like torque power, torque current, torque speed.
